  • His mother, Abiah Foldger, was a decendant of the Foldgers Coffee Company.

  • He published Poor Richard's Almanack in 1732.

  • He taught himself Latin, Italian, French, German and Spanish.

  • He held ten different jobs including the following: Printer, Writer, Politician, Inventor, Scientist, Volunteer firefighter, Librarian, Postmaster, Bookstore owner and Soldier in Philadelphia militia

  • Died April 17, 1790
